Acess to Cambodia from Vietnam (by land)

1. Bavet (Cambodian side) – Moc Bai (Mộc Bài - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Bavet international border checkpoint is located in Svay Rieng Province, and on the Vietnamese side, The Moc Bai international border checkpoint is located in Tay Ninh Province.
This is the most popular international border checkpoint to access to Cambodia from Vietnam.
Tourist can reach Cambodian from Vietnam through the gates. Visas on arrival and E-visas are available there. They can get access to Phnompenh by National Road No.1. The distance between Ho Chi Minh City and Phnompenh is 230km.
Everyday, there are a lot of bus departure from Ho Chi Minh city to Phnompenh, siem Riep,… and back: Mailinh Bus, Kumho Bus, Sapaco Bus, Mekong Express Bus,…

2. Kaam Samnor (Cambodia side) and Vinh Xuong (Vĩnh Xương - Vietnamese side).
On the Cambodian side, the Kaam Samnor international border checkpoint is located between Kandal and Prey Veng Provinces, and on the Vietnamese side, the Vĩnh Xương international border checkpoint is located in An Giang province (Mekong Delta). Visas on arrival are available there. The distance between Vĩnh Xương and Phnompenh is 120 km.

3. Phnom Den (Cambodian side) and Tinh Bien (Tịnh Biên - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Phnom Den international border checkpoint is located in Takeo Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Tinh Bien international border checkpoint is located in An Giang province (Mekong Delta). Tourists can get access to Cambodia through the gate. Visas on arrival are available there. The distance between Tịnh Biên and Phnompenh is 128km, between Tịnh Biên and Takeo is 51km
4. Trapaing Phlong (cambodian side) and Xa Mat (Xa Mát - Vietnamese side).
On the Cambodian side, the Trapaing Phlong international border checkpoint is located in Kampong Cham Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Xa Mat international border checkpoint is located in Tay Ninh province. Tourists can get access to Cambodia through the gate. Visas on arrival are available there. The distance between Xa Mát and Phnompenh is 200km, between Xa Mát and Siem Riep is 330km.


5. Trapaing Srè (Cambodian side) and Hoa Lu (Hoa Lư - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Trapaing Srè international border checkpoint is located in Kratie Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Hoa Lư international border checkpoint is located in Binh Phuoc province. Tourists can get access to Cambodia through the gate. Visas on arrival are available there. The distance between Hoa Lư and Phnompenh is 400km.

6. Oyadao (Cambodian side) and Le Thanh (Lệ Thanh - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Oyadao international border checkpoint is located in Rattanak Kiri Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Le Thanh international border checkpoint is located in Gia Lai province. Visas on arrival are available there.

7. Banteay (Cambodian side) and Dinh Ba (Dinh Bà - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Banteay international border checkpoint is located in Prey Vng Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Dinh Ba international border checkpoint is located in Dong Thap province. Visas on arrival are available there.
8. Preak Chak (Cambodian side) and Xà Xía (Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Preak Chak international border checkpoint is located in Kampot Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Xà Xía international border checkpoint is located in Kien Giang province. Tourists can get access to Cambodia through the gate. Visas on arrival are available there.

9. Samrong (Cambodian side) and Mi Quy Tei (Mỹ Quy Tây - Vietnamese side)
On the Cambodian side, the Samrong international border checkpoint is located in Svay Rieng Province, and on the Vietnamese side, the Mi Quy Tei international border checkpoint is located in Long An province. Visas on arrival are available there.
