No Smoke, no horns, no quarrels or traffic jams, only charming, clear, gentle and peaceful Ha Noi in the early morning.
Dracontomelum turning into orange color solicits Miss and Mrs. alike to taste the mouthwatering soaked fruit.
It gets cooler at dusk that causes arms to hold on more tightly. The late afternoons get dry and hot after a rainy day, clearing the city air just before nightfall.
Autumn gently covers every corner of the city bringing about the new flavors of the season. Purple forger-me-not flowers scattered through out morning markets are now replacing summer flowers, like pink lotuses. Chinese figs appear in the morning markets. The morning sunshine isn’t too severe, sultry and suffocating as it is in summer.
The sky is now clear and blue with a cool autumn breeze.
Hanoi doesn’t outwardly wake up to the first autumn morning. In the early morning, the city is extraordinarily beautiful. Going out in the morning one will have to wear a light coat as morning air has a slight chill. The shopkeepers come and go as flower carriers are seen around peaceful Westlake. Nghi Tam flower market buzzes with sellers, buyers, retailers and wholesalers.
The market starts early in the morning until about 6am. Every morning random customers drop by to buy flowers for there loved ones or their homes, some tale pictures or simply admire the beauty of the all the flowers. The sun rises but the city is still dim, time now for a cup of lotus tea to get ready for the day. Make a stop at the Korean road, a popular spot among young men. Seeing the beauty of the Lotus flower in the water can evoke quite the emotion. You know autumn is coming. Quaint shacks can be found by the lakeside where travelers can enjoy a cup of tea while appreciating the red dragonflies flying around.
