Why travel to Vietnam

Most people still think of Vietnam as a battle field, in fact, HOWEVER, that old history has all gone for long, giving place to a brand new era when peace and safety reside! These days, instead, you may often hear CNN, BBC, or many other prestigious channels talking about something like "Vietnam - a safe destination of the new millennium", or "Vietnam - the Hidden Charm" , etc. Yes, it's now opening to the world as a friendly and exotic place on earth!

Phu Quoc Past Soul

Located at the 4 ha hill, the Origination Museum is like a miniature Phu Quoc with many antiques, potteries and porcelains that were fished out from the Phu Quoc sea and vestiges of the fresh ground in Southern Vietnam.

Lang Co Beach, near Da Nang

Lǎng Cô Beach lies between Da Nang and Hue. Lang Co itself is a developing touristic area, where the natural beauty of the lagoon, the long beaches and the fishing village is still mostly untouched. On the way from Da Nang to Hue, just after passing the Hai Van Pass, while descending from the pass the very nice village of Lǎng Cô with its nice white sandy beaches appears.

Hamburger hill, as this was nicknamed by US soldiers, is a totally appropriate name for converying how fierce and brutal war was. Four decades on, Hamburger Hill has become a tourist attraction, a place that reminds young people of the older generation’s sacrifice and patriotism

HaNoi's Night Markets

Though they have recently been in Ha Noi, night market partially contributes to making a nice picture of Ha Noi in the eyes of tourists. Every evening from Friday to Sunday, at 7pm, from Dong Xuan (Đồng Xuân) market to Hang Dao, and then up to one end of Hoan Kiem lake (lake of the Restored Sword), the market is much busy and full of steps of tourists and passers-by.

HUE - UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites

Hue is one of the most popular destinations for visitors to Vietnam. Straddling the Perfume River, this mysterious, somber city is a historian's dream come true, with numerous 19th century ruins, royal tombs and an excellent museum. The Imperial City of Hue was the capital of Vietnam during the reign of the Nguyen dynasty, the last dynasty in Vietnam. Even today, the Vietnamese regard Hue with awe and respect. Hue also has the distinction of being one of the rainiest cities in Vietnam, receiving more than 120 inches each year.

Night Markets in Ho Chi Minh City

While they may not be as bright and shiny as malls or supermarkets, night markets have their own character and are popular destinations for local people and travellers alike. For many travellers the day is just too hot to spend shopping, and the cooler night air offers an ideal opportunity to grab some souvenirs, while for locals the evening is an ideal time to meet and gather outside and share a meal or a drink under the stars.
